Design a promotional poster for a movie script by writer Arthur Asseman, capturing the essence of the film while effectively communicating its tone, themes, and visual identity.
Process:
The design process began with multiple meetings where we discussed the film’s premise and the key elements Asseman wanted the poster to convey. These discussions provided valuable insight into the film’s mood, narrative, and overall aesthetic direction.
Using this information, I developed a series of conceptual designs, experimenting with different color schemes, layouts, and typography. These variations were compiled into a Poster Deck, which I presented to Asseman for feedback. His input helped refine the creative direction, allowing me to focus on a more specific visual approach.
For the final stage, I worked on perfecting the design, carefully adjusting details to enhance its impact and readability. I created multiple variations of the title color to assess legibility and visual harmony, ensuring the final poster was both striking and effective.
